levi is a squad captain of the survey corps
their job is to go on glorious and bloody adventures to murder giant cannibalistic semi-human creatures called titans
his age is ~a mystery~ ("surprisingly old" and "over 30") bc our lovely writer hinted maybe its a plot point?? that he'll probably not address forever
he's a shonen manga gary stu ("humanity's strongest soldier"!!) whose friends were fridged so he could kill 5 titans single-handed!! with no visibility!! in the rain!! while wielding his blades the wrong way!! to drive the point home
he has the tact of a potato and he is not immensely friendly, what with the killing things angle and a tragic backstory of being "lifted from a life of poverty"
lots of bad shit happened and lots of people died, mostly severed and eaten by giant humanoid creatures but remarkably sometimes other shit goes down that also kills people
also he really likes to clean things. like, a lot. so he's totally quirky too on top of being unashamedly trope-tastic

POWERS AND ABILITIES:

canon: murdering lots of titans alone with his sweet self-taught shonen manga moves (basically he's pretty agile)
canon: he's a pretty quick thinker in bad situations
rift-granted: i'll give this asshole a healing factor but it's only slight, not some insane immortal wolverine-style shit but enough so that his wounds heal twice as fast as they would otherwise unless they're grievous
so basically like the time he got shot in the face and the wound mysteriously healed to full within a few fuckin days since apparently he's too pretty to actually sustain wounds bc he's one of the manga's primary money-earners, oh japan
