Oi. My Pokémon have made eggs. I wasn't trying to do that, but it doesn't seem like they much care about my own intentions. The fuck am I supposed to do with these?

I'm sure they'll be shitting all over the place if I end up with too many of them. Do I hand them out? Sell them? Shit. ( After a few more seconds, Levi makes a sound like a 'tch' because wow complaining takes so much work nobody knows how hard his life is. )

If you want to put it that way, yes. Bragging rights certainly do come with it, but having certain badges allow you to be able to train Pokemon of higher levels without a problem, even those that have been traded to you.

You also need certain badges to Fly and Surf, which are both vital for traveling.

Fly and Surf. How are they vital for traveling? Are you saying there is another way to get around this place? I don't have to walk everywhere?

Of course there is. Some Pokemon can learn a move called Fly, which allows you to fly from town to town. A day of walking would take two or three hours flying.

Some areas require you to cross water, and you would need a Pokemon who can use the move Surf to do that, allowing you to ride them. However, those moves are...different. Even if your Pokemon has them, they won't be able to use them properly unless you have the right badges.

For example, if you want to be able to use Fly outside of battle, you will need to defeat Falkner and obtain the Zephyr badge. To actually get the required TM you have to defeat Chuck in Cainwood, if I am remembering correctly.

I obtained a Pokemon that was bred knowing the move Fly, so it was a matter of just getting the Zephyr badge so I could use it.

Do I need more than two Pokemon, if I want to level them and acquire these badges?

More than two would be preferable. You can carry up to six for a reason.
